Exchange & Issue Resolution Policy
If there’s an issue with your order—such as damage, receiving the wrong item, or a clear sizing discrepancy—please contact us at team@thepastmodern.com within 48 hours of delivery.
To help us resolve your request quickly, include:
- Your order number
- Clear photos of the item and its packaging
- A brief description of the issue
Once reviewed, approved requests may be eligible for store credit or an exchange, depending on the situation.
Return Shipping Guidelines
If an exchange is approved:
- Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs, including:
- International courier fees
- Customs duties, taxes, and handling charges
- Items must be returned in their original condition—unworn, unwashed, and with all tags intact
- Please clearly mark the package as “Return” to help avoid additional customs charges
- We are not responsible for items lost or delayed during return transit. We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange:
- Custom or made-to-order pieces
- Sale or discounted items
Please note: Items sent back without prior approval will not be accepted.
