Return & Refund

 

Past Modern aims to ensure its customers’ full satisfaction. We will gladly accept a return for a store credit. We do not offer refunds for change of mind or incorrect sizing. Please note, Final Sale items are excluded from the return policy.

Process your return by sending us an email at team@thepastmodern.com. Please check the categories below to see which item/s are eligible :

  • The item is unworn and in its original condition, with all tags still attached
  • The item has absolutely no marks or stains (including makeup and spray tans)
  • A receipt and proof of purchase is available
  • Must be processed and approved by us via email

We reserve the right to reject returns beyond the return period limit, or items which are not in the original condition in which they were received. If this is the case, the package will be simply returned back to the customer and any shipping costs involved will not be covered by us.

Please note that returns are for a store credit only. Direct exchanges are not possible at this stage.

Store Credits are available for all full-priced and sale (excluding Final Sale) returns within 5 days of delivery.

  • Store Credits are processed within 5 - 7 business days once the return has been received by our warehouse.
  • Store credits will be emailed to the email address attached to the order and valid for 12 months.
  • Store Credit Returns Shipping from the United States is covered by a flat fee of $15. This fee is deducted from the total returned value.
  • If you are returning from an alternate country, the shipping service and cost are to be completed via your local postal service by you. 
  • Please note, that any duties paid are based on your local government requirements and are not eligible for store credit.

IN THE CASE OF FAULTY ITEM

We work hard to ensure every piece from our collections arrives to you in perfect condition. However, in the unlikely case of an item being delivered as faulty, we request that we are notified via lodging a return within 5 days of delivery and we will be happy to provide you with a full refund.

Please send us an email at team@thepastmodern.com including a description of the fault, and relevant images. This will then be assessed by our customer service team and a free returns label will be provided. If the fault is noticed after wearing the item, please include this information when describing the fault in the portal.

Faulty Refunds will be processed within 5 - 7 business days back to the original payment method once the return has been received by our warehouse.
